Beautiful greenway to go from St-Girons to Boussens (or vice versa!). Less nice than from Foix to St-Girons but still good! On the other hand, compared to some photos, there is no tunnel on this part, you have to go towards Foix for that!

Going over the Col d'Auedole is to treat yourself to a pretty sight. You will see the richness of flora and fauna with superb flowers, mushrooms, insects, reptiles and birds. On a larger scale, the panoramas open wide in front of you and show you all the beauty of the Pyrenees.

A fairly gentle pass coming from Saint-Girons. The other side seems more difficult.

The Portet-d'Aspet pass culminates at an altitude of 1,069 meters between the Ger and Bouigane valleys. Its ascent from the village of Aspet is 14.3 kilometers long with an average gradient of 4.2%. Until the Oule bridge the road remains relatively easy before really rising over the last kilometers with several passages at more than 13%.
