The obviously very modern small religious monument that the beachcomber encounters here draws on a type of cross already known in the Middle Ages: A so-called "Arma Christi Cross," a special form of Passion cross, has been erected here. Jean Debeyre has thus created a small sacred monument rich in Christian symbolism, which requires the viewer to take some time and have some knowledge of biblical history.
