Arlempdes Castle is the first fortress built on the banks of the Loire. Built on a rocky peak, this 13th century construction is a jewel of Velay. The castle has been included on the list of historic monuments since 1926. During the summer, it is possible to visit it through ASACHAR (Association for the Protection and Animation of Arlempdes Castle).

The Mézenc plateau, located in the Mézenc massif, is a mountainous massif located in the Massif Central. Its highest point is Mont Mézenc. It is at an altitude of about 1400m.

The Recoumène viaduct is a railway bridge built in 1925.

Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille is a village that was built around the oldest abbey in Velay (7th century).
