A very nice short hike. The beginning is very steep, then passes through the forest, before becoming open with magnificent views. The return begins with a 10-minute walk through a rather unpleasant meadow, then it's easy.

The summit of Plo del Naou offers panoramic views of the Pyrenees, making it a great destination. At over 1,700 metres above sea level, you will be surrounded by rugged peaks. On a clear day, you can see the majestic Pic du Midi and the neighbouring peaks stretching into the distance.

The Pic d'Estaragne is relatively easy to reach for a 3000m peak. The ascent and descent from the north can be hiked in its entirety. The real summit is about 10 minutes further west of the summit indicated on Komoot and the first viewpoint towards the Spanish Pyrenees that you reach. Once at the top, you can follow the summit ridge and reach two more pics. The terrain becomes a little more difficult, but still doable.

The Col d'Azet is a road mountain pass located at 1,585 meters above sea level. It allows you to go from the Aure valley to the Louron valley. It is one of the 34 passes connected by the famous pass road.

Located in the Louron valley, the Col d'Azet peaks at an altitude of 1,580 meters. This passage connects the village of Loudenvielle and that of Azet on the heights of Saint-Lary-Soulan. The ascent from Lake Génos is 7.5 kilometers for an average of 8.3% with some passages at 13%.

Culminating at 3,006 meters above sea level, the Pic d'Estaragne is relatively easy to access at 3,000 meters. The panorama it offers is all the more striking.
