Part of the GR 400 which joins the Col du Prat-de-Bouc where there are possibilities for accommodation and catering. This section also leads to Plomb du Cantal, the highest peak in Cantal.
The Élancèze dominates at 1,565 meters the valley of the Jordanne and Mandailles to the north and the valley of the Cère and Thiézac to the south. It thus offers a magnificent view of the Cantal mountains.
Easily accessible waterfall on the Lasmolineries stream (stream also at the origin of the Faillitoux waterfall). The belvedere offers a bird's eye view of the waterfall.
