A medieval fountain The fountain of Bredons dates from the Middle Ages. It is located a little before the priory of Bredons. It is installed on a rectangular column. On one of its sides we can see the sculpture of a griffin in the form of a human mask. Its style brings it closer to the Romanesque tradition. The water that feeds it comes from the mountains. A monastery would have been founded in Bredons in the 11th century and the fountain would then have been attached to the monastic church.
