If you have arrived here, the hardest part is done. This trail is not very complicated. You enter a forest area, ideal for enjoying the shade. The climb to the Somme de Prat Berlant requires pushing, then you join a trail used by hunters, it is easy. This section is probably doable in both directions. But in [West -> East] it is a treat!

A short but pleasant descent, on a dirt road, then in the pretty streets of Meyras, to arrive at the Cévenol Market, where you can use a repair kit provided by the town hall, or enjoy a drink and a local specialty for finish a walk in style.

A great descent, not too complicated, and an abandoned bulldozer in the middle of a chestnut forest... Be careful of trees crossing and dead leaves (in autumn) which prevent you from analyzing the terrain! Towards the end of the descent we cross brambles and some rosehips (I had a puncture...).

Two great panoramas, on the east side of the Thueyts valley, and on the west side of the Champagne valley, from where the Bulldozer DH route starts...

Le Cheylard is the second industrial center of the Ardèche, nestled in the valleys of Eyrieux and Dorne. To see, the Arche des Métiers, the Maison du Bijou, the Château de la Chèze.

More of a symbol than an exceptional site, but a beautiful symbol.
