The Nécropole Nationale de Villers-Marmery is a military cemetery in Villers-Marmery, France. This cemetery is located in the heart of the Champagne region and contains the graves of soldiers who died for France during the fighting in this region1. The cemetery was originally created to bury soldiers who died in the ambulance centre set up in the village in 1915. Although the initial intention was to make this cemetery temporary and later integrate it into the cemetery of Sept-Saulx, this plan was changed thanks to a petition by Mademoiselle Hazon de Saint-Firmin. She was very attached to the grave of a soldier buried there and managed to preserve and develop the cemetery1. In 2013, the cemetery was renovated and today there are 523 people buried in individual graves

The Faux de Verzy are twisted beeches, a variety of beeches with twisted twigs and branches and singular shapes, the origin of which is still obscure to botanists. These spectacular trees with very slow growth and exceptional longevity, greatly contribute to the uniqueness of the Regional Natural Park of the Montagne de Reims. With more than 1000 scythes, the Forest of Verzy is the main world reserve of these unique trees.

The Moulin de Verzenay was built in 1818 by the miller family Tinot-Vincent on the Mont Bœuf near Verzenay. In 1863, the miller family Boudeville bought the estate with mill. The operation ended in 1903, as the miller had decided that the mill should not turn after his death. Later, the mill went into the possession of the house Goulden and after the First World War in the von Heidsieck over. A restoration of the mill took place in 1949 at the suggestion of the then Heidsieck management. Today the mill is owned by G.H. Mumm and, in its exposed position, one of the few extant witnesses of the numerous formerly existing mills in the vineyards of Champagne.
