The Barigauer Tower is an observation tower on the Barigauer Höhe near Barigau, a district of Königsee in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district of Thuringia. Built in 1912, it offers impressive panoramic views of the region from a height of 664.6 meters. On a clear day, you can see over 43 villages, towns, and famous mountain peaks from here, including the Schneekopf near Ilmenau and the Leuchtenburg Castle in Kahla. Next to the tower, there is a restaurant that welcomes hikers and visitors.

Lovingly laid out. We used the parking lot as a starting point for an extended hike to the region's four stamping points.

Passing the town, we reach the Barigauer Höhe at 665 meters and the tower, which is closed for renovation. We are nevertheless rewarded with a beautiful view. From here, up to 48 villages and towns as well as a large number of mountain peaks can be seen.

From here you have a beautiful view of the Schwarzatal and the Saaleland. The place is often used by campers as an overnight stay. From the car park it is about 3 km to the Lange Berg monument. It is worth it in any case!!!

According to German law, the hunter calls a feeding place a place for spreading grain, such as B. maize, or other non-meat substances (also from eggs and cheese), which are sought by game as food. As the name suggests, this bench is great for snogging. If you don't have a girlfriend or boyfriend with you, you can hit the wheel. I recommend the chain. This gives the typical Radler chain Knutsch pattern on the mouth. Preferably for mountain bikers in love.
