The castle is located directly on the banks of the Elbe and cannot be overlooked due to its impressive (also colorful) construction. From the opposite bank, the castle shows its most beautiful side, especially in the late afternoon. On the site itself you should then take a lot more time.

- Special tip: In the evenings in summer, around 9:00 p.m., when it's still light, you can look at the castle and the camellia for free (no more checks at the western entrance) and then enjoy the sunset :)
- Almost directly in front of the castle, a ferry offers the possibility to cross the Elbe.

If you want to go to the castle, take the ferry, if you can see it, this is the right place.
