    The refuge at the top of the three languages is right on the border between Italy and Switzerland. While the tourists are cavorting below you on the highest pass road in Switzerland (2,501 meters), you can enjoy the view up here undisturbed. In the Refugio you can strengthen yourself or book in for one night. An evening in the hut with people of different nationalities will definitely be sociable. If the Refugio Garibaldi is your final stop, you can get on the bus at the pass road. All information about the accommodation: rifugiogaribaldi.it/en

          If you have climbed over the Goldseeweg from the Furkelhütte, the Rifugio Garibaldi offers for a stop, if you still have enough time for the last bus from the Stelvio Pass.

            From the top you have a view of Switzerland and you can still enjoy that. The route then leads into a tourist mile that has something of the Ballamann in Mallorca. Everyone comes together here, hikers, cyclists and of course all motorists. There are numerous restaurants.

                      The three-language peak at the Stelvio Pass is not a "real" border triangle. But there was one thing and that was between Italy, Switzerland and Austria. But that only lasted until the end of the First World War, when in 1918 Austria had to cede what is now South Tyrol to Italy. Today's border triangle between Austria, Switzerland and Italy is accordingly further north, near the Reschen Pass on Lake Reschen.
