This building houses the administration of the 3784 square kilometre municipality of Bräcke with its approximately 6000 inhabitants (1477 of whom live in the city). The building, which was last extended between 2004 and 2006, also houses the "Folkets Hus" and the local high school. The municipality of Bräcke was most recently the largest employer here with 725 employees.
