Bräcke station is located on the Mittbanan, the main line between Sundsvall on the east coast of Sweden and Storlien on the border with Norway and further to Trondheim in Norway. The line is single-track, with the exception of a thirty-kilometer-long double-track section between Ånge and Bräcke. The station in Bräcke was opened in 1874, and the current station building was built in 1910.
