Managed by a network of local clubs, the "Folkets Hus" is a people's house full of life. It is a public meeting place full of activities and a centre for culture, knowledge, food and fun. The centrally located house next to the administration centre combines conference facilities, a restaurant, café, library, cinema, school for grades 7 to 9, youth centre and much more. The facility has been there since 1921, the current building dates from 1958. It was extensively renovated and expanded in 1985 and from 2004 to 2006 (extension of the high school).
