In Cagliari center it is almost always steeply uphill, but it's worth it. You will be rewarded with great panoramas, especially at dusk, or at night. Also on the other side (parking at the end of via Belvedere) waits a spectacular panorama.

In the winding streets of the center of Cagliari you can immediately feel it: nature has created its own topography here. With every step you take up the steep paths, you leave the pulsating everyday life of the city behind and feel the anticipation of the panorama that lies ahead growing.

Once at the top, an impressive spectacle opens up to the visitor: the old town of Cagliari spreads out in all its splendor, while the extensive bay glitters in the background. This place unfolds its full magic, especially at dusk, when the sun slowly disappears behind the horizon and the city is bathed in soft light. The contours of the historic buildings blur and everything seems to have a calm, golden glow.

But it's not just this site that has its charm. A little tip: If you follow via Belvedere to the end, there is another viewing point at the parking lot. Here Cagliari shows itself from a different, equally spectacular side.

Anyone who takes the time to climb the heights of Cagliari will understand: it's often the simple things, like a view over a city, that create the most beautiful memories.
