The Bastione Santa Croce offers one of the best views of the upper town. It is located in the district of Castello. Cagliari's nightlife also starts on the terrace.

The Tower of the Elephants was built by the Pisans and completed in 1307.
From October 27th, 2021 you can visit it again, at least the first four floors. The visit is only possible as part of a guided tour. The tours start Tuesday to Sunday every hour at the following times: 9:15 am / 10:15 am / 11:15 am / 12:15 pm / 1:15 pm / 2:15 pm / 3:15 pm.
