Baboon Lake is… unreal. Situated alongside a long wall of talus extending down from Point Powell, the resulting perspective looking up to Mount Thompson and Point Powell over the water is simply moving. While the hike down into the basin is a bit chaotic, it is absolutely worth the extra effort!
Baboon Lake is a picturesque alpine lake found at Sabrina Basin. The hike goes through the Sabrina Basin Trail and then turns off to the left, where it divides again to Donkey Lake Trail; after this junction the trail can be difficult to follow, so having the map downloaded will help the navigation. Getting to the lake is a beautiful blue reward.
