Midnight Lake, like all of the other lakes located in the immediate area, is formed by the cumulation of snow runoff from the surrounding peaks, primarily Mount Tom Ross, Mount Darwin and Mount Haeckel. Out of Midnight Lake flows Darwin Creek, which feeds Middle Fork Bishop Creek- the primary tributary of Lake Sabrina. Needless to say, the water here is incredibly gorgeous, and very unique with it’s emerald-turquoise hues. The lake is also teeming with trout! Soooo many fishy friends!!
