Glienicke Castle and the surrounding park are the result of the "Dream of Italy" that Hohenzollern Prince Carl von Prussia realized here in the 19th century. After a very checkered history of use, the palace has been used primarily for museum purposes since 1987. The extensive park offers numerous smaller buildings, such as the casino with a view of Jungfernsee, the rotunda near the Glienicker Bridge or the stibadium as special special places.
