A monument in Ireland, and especially in Dublin, is neither a sensation nor a rarity. There are monuments and plaques for everyone and everything.
This one stands out for me because of the incredibly casual portrayal of Oscar Wilde.
Very close by, in front of Kennedy's Westland Row Pub, you can see him sitting again.
