Otto Frello's gable paintings were made by 19 decorative painters from Svendborg Malerskole, who enlarged sketches by Otto Frello so that the paintings now cover every square centimeter of the walls in the alley between Otto Frello Square and King Svend Square in Varde. The gable paintings have many whimsical and fun details that are incredibly lifelike.

The gable paintings by Otto Frello are in the center of Varde. The gable paintings are absolutely unique works of art by 19 decorative painters from Svenborg Malerskole who, based on enlarged sketches, painted Otto Frello's paintings in such a way that they cover every square centimeter of the walls in the alley between Otto Frello's Plads and Kunst Svends Plads.

The two gable paintings allow you to explore the many whimsical details of each painting while the subjects are so vivid and imaginative.

There is a suction cat with a snorkel, an octopus with high-heeled shoes and a fish with a top hat.

The gable paintings offer many bizarre details in the paintings, whereby the two motifs are so lively that one feels like going on a trip up the rope ladder or swimming in the North Sea.
