The Aabach Bridge, a striking Heimatstil building, was built in 1917 by W. Wenk and Joh. Müller. Old sayings are carved on the beams.
Work on the renovation of the Aabach Bridge in Schmerikon began at the beginning of September 2022. The complete superstructure of the bridge was lifted and hovered over the substructure, the sight was awesome.
The bridge was closed for half a year, it now shines again in new splendor.

Old covered wooden bridge in a very special shape with bay windows and turrets. Newly installed on a new concrete base, basically an absolute horror, has the monument preservation authorities approved this??
