The Wittenberg ramparts surround the historic old town like a green belt.
If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the old town for a few moments, you can rest on the ramparts. In spring, the cherry blossoms on the city moat, for example, are beautiful to look at, and in autumn you shouldn't miss the colorful leaves.
In the southeast of the city is the Bunkerberg, which offers a beautiful view of the city and the surrounding area. Since 2017, you can walk on mirrored walkways to get new perspectives on the landscape. Small parks and waterways run through the ramparts and invite you to take a deep breath.
