There are two castle ponds immediately adjacent to the castle that are interconnected. The moat is also connected to the pond. The pond on the left when you come from the parking lot gives you a good view of the castle from everywhere and has a kind of mini island in a corner where many water birds reside. In addition, close to the parking lot, you will find a circular wooden platform that partly hangs over the water. Finally, this pond is connected to a playground where there is, among other things, a small pool with a focus on the fire salamander. The site is connected by a small bridge. On the other side, on the right when you come from the parking lot, and connected with a lock and bridge and in the middle between both ponds a walking path, you have a pond where fishermen often hang out.
