The Budellera torrent is a small stream in Collserola, which rises in the Budellera spring. After traveling 1800 meters it empties into the Vallvidrera stream.

The place is of great naturalistic interest, taking into account the proximity of the city, as it is located in a splendid holm oak grove.

The project for this fountain was commissioned by the French landscape architect Jean Claude Nicolas Forestier. The work was carried out in 1918. In 1988 it was restored and in the autumn of 2007 it was repaired due to serious damage due to the rains of the previous autumn.

Water comes out of the mouth of the relief of a face embedded in a large exposed stone wall. The front of the fountain and the pond are under large vaults covered with vegetation. The environment consists of three very wide terraces, connected by exposed stone stairs. There is a part with benches under the trees. The lower terrace stands out with a row of wide and well-preserved stairs where the canalized water circulates in the middle.
