The arm bath is part of the "AtemWeg", which opened on August 12, 2022 and invites you to participate in 11 stations with a focus on modern wellness, sports and recreational requirements. Therapeutic approaches, especially on the topic of breathing techniques and preventive health promotion, also played a role in the design of the 3.6-kilometer-long path.

Stützerbach was first mentioned as a high-altitude health resort in 1910. Since 1929, patients have been treated using the Kneipp healing method. In 1932, Stützerbach was advertised as the first Kneipp health resort in Thuringia. In the town and the surrounding forest, there are Kneipp facilities such as water treading pools and arm baths as well as herb beds, a certified Kneipp kindergarten, a Kneipp elementary school and a very committed Kneipp association.
