If you walk through beautiful Bamberg, you will inevitably come across the next sight.
The most important and largest square in the city center:
Maximilianplatz is exclusively called Maxplatz by the locals.
As soon as you ask about Maximilianplatz, you are outed as a tourist.
The Baroque-style town hall, built between 1732 and 1737 by Balthasar Neumann, is the focal point of Maxplatz.
The size and popularity of the square means that it is used very differently.
Whether events, cultural events or the fruit and vegetable market that takes place on weekdays, whose winter counterpart is the Christmas market.
