Mistletoe loves trees, in fact, they cannot live without them because they are semi-parasites. The mistletoe takes nutrients and water from the tree and will weaken the tree in times of water shortage. But if the tree dies, the life of the mistletoe is also over, while this plant can live up to 50 years. Usually the tree can live with the mistletoe for a while.
