The village is located about 115 kilometers south of Brussels and is crossed by the river Eau Noire in the village center and the river Eau Blanche to the north of it. On the border with Dourbes, the two merge into the Viroin. The village has a tourist information office, a few hotels and guest houses and a number of cafes and restaurants. In 2006, a touristic nature park was created in the middle of the village, the construction of which was sponsored by the European Community.
In high season, the village can be explored with a tourist train, which transports tourists in an hour to some special places in the village. There are also some walking routes from the village.
