The two gigantic building complexes that 'hang' over the station will have caught your eye of course. The building in the shape of the letter L has twenty floors, is 116 metres high, so has the shape of a letter L and the grey and green colours look a bit ordinary. You will notice a lot of glass, metal and stone and on the nameplates you will read Tour de Lille. Tour Credit Lyonnais used to be called it because the company ensured that the financial picture was filled in. Next to the 'L' there is also a remarkable building, Tour Lilleurope. This has five more floors and is 'only' 110 metres high, mainly office space. It is a construction of cables, reinforced concrete placed in a frame, which makes it seem as if the offices are 'floating'.
