Easy to reach: cross the Turnhoutsebaan when you are at the Gerhagen car park on this lane. Instead of turning left to Averbode, follow the small road that bends to the right. There is now also a tree with a statue of a heron and a woodpecker where you have to go right, not to be missed.

The peepholes are aimed at the Munninckxgoor. The names of the historic - restored - fens you will find here were given by the monks who once dug the ponds to breed fish and extract peat.
