Anne & Nera Poeltje, also registered as “Het Laat Poeltje”…. had a special place in Anne's heart. Unfortunately, she passed the horizon in the fall of 2022. Now she is on her way to discover new horizons.

"To all dear followers who enjoyed my adventures with Nera. For me my journey now ends due to illness. Starting tomorrow, Nera will continue sniffing new paths together with a nice new owner. I still enjoyed your walks. 🥾💛📷"
Posthumously we will turn this special location into a highlight so that Anne & Nera will never be forgotten.
To put it in Anne & Nera's own words:
“It is always nice to walk and stay here, every season is different here.
The large, somewhat hidden fen, surrounding trees reflect this resting place.
Het Laat Poeltje… Take a break and enjoy this beautiful place.
Nera thought this was a very nice swimming place”.
As loyal followers of hers, we have always been able to enjoy her walking experiences.
Hopefully her walks and recommended highlights will encourage nature lovers to discover our nature 'together in her spirit'.
