This chapel (Our Lady of Peace) is located close to the Remakshoeve at the crossroads of some beautiful and varied walking and cycling paths.
Near the chapel is a bench where you can rest for a while

At the entrance to an area with grazers and a bench. So far I haven't found much about this brick chapel except that it was apparently founded in gratitude for the (end and/or course of the) war 1940-1945. It could be that it was built by one of the owners of the nearby Remakshoeve and there were quite a few, see komoot.com/nl-nl/highlight/2868005

Het Molenveld is a name that has existed for some time and is mentioned repeatedly in "Contribution to the toponymy of Schaffen and Molenstede" by Frans Claes S.J. but here again there is no mention of a chapel with that name. The chapel is located on the mill road. There are several roads with the name mill to the water mill (in 1440 people were already talking about "Moelstede bouen aende molen" and later also about "Molenstede Beneden" to indicate the area around that mill).
