The work of art on the Wilhelminenbrücke in Hafencity is intended to commemorate the Speicherstadt as a large trading center for carpets. The stone oriental carpet is 27 m long and consists of colored granules of quartz, granite and marble.

The mosaic "Steinerner Oriental Carpet" on the Wilhelminen Bridge is intended to remind us of the Speicherstadt as the largest trading center for oriental carpets. The 27 meter long work of art consists of colored granules made of quartz, granite and marble.
The sculptor Frank Raendchen created the work of art in 2005 and led the restoration in 2016.
