The rock arch near Kasendorf is definitely worth the short detour from the main path.
Water, sun, and frost have caused the erosion of the stones: Summer thunderstorms abruptly cool the heated rock, and these temperature fluctuations alone can create tiny hairline cracks. Water seeps into these cracks, freezes at sub-zero temperatures, and expands. This then splits the stone – creating the arch.

The Stone Gate at Kasendorf is a rocky area in the middle of the forest, which has a large hole in the middle through which the hiker can walk. Especially in the spring when the sun is low, you can take beautiful photos and marvel at nature to the fullest.

Lower middle-sized rock gate. In Folaubung you can walk smoothly on the trail. A sign is felt 30 cm long and visible only from the northwest side, so watch out!
