This castle was built in 1897 and serves as a hotel. Famous personalities like Thomas Gottschalk or Rea Garvey have already visited. From here you have a great view of Würzburg

The stone castle is a mixture of old stone walls and straight new buildings (refuge) high up in the vineyards. Here you can not only spend the night and eat elegantly - whether in the restaurant or on the terrace - cooking courses are also offered as well as wine tastings in the castle's own wine cellar.

From the hotel you can then stroll relaxed on the stone wine path from the Moltkeruh viewpoint to Grombühl, past the Garden of Eden, the Bismarck Tower and the Weingut am Stein.

And one thing is certain when you visit the Schlosshotel Steinburg: "From up here you can enjoy the most beautiful view over the twinkling lights of the city - and a wine grows right at your feet, which Goethe chose as his favorite drink, the world-famous Würzburger Stein."
