In the northern section of the Wuhlheide, a very interesting path runs on the crown of an approximately 10 meter high earth wall. The very precise shape and the regular profile of the wall exclude a natural topography. The wall was probably created in 1950/1951 according to plans by the landscape architect Reinhold Lingner as part of the redesign of a section of the Volkspark Wuhlheide into the Ernst Thälmann Pioneer Park (today the FEZ).

As with the construction of the Parkbühne Wuhlheide, which was also created as part of the Pioneer Park, the ramparts were made from rubble and covered with topsoil.

Today the wall is a tree-covered natural part of the landscape and enables beautiful and interesting views of the Wuhlheide forest areas below

I quite simply assume that this wall is a railway embankment that has never been used and that should form an unnecessary connection to the outer ring. Accordingly, the dam must have been built much earlier.
