During the GDR era there was a civil marshalling yard and a military loading station here. Both were shut down in 1994, but remains from that time can be seen on almost every corner.

ハイキング
The areas with the dry grass are particularly rich in the summer, u.a. There are many different grasshoppers and butterflies, also dragonflies were observed. Unfortunately, some places were burdened with a lot of garbage and left many garden waste. This has also brought many plants there that should not actually be there.
