The circular route around the Eibsee is also feasible for untrained people and offers some great views of the Zugspitze and the Wetterstein Mountains from the north shore. Therefore it is best to walk the path around the lake in a clockwise direction; so you have the highlights at the end (the south bank is rather moderately interesting).

Very beautiful lake with great subjects for taking photos, but you are not alone on the weekend. In some places there are paths to the lake and at Corona you can take your picnic with you and spend a few hours at the lake. Important: do not leave any rubbish !! Because others want to enjoy a beautiful lake too.
