The Lock of Well or House of Malsen is a moatedburcastle of the village Well, in the municipality Maasdriel in the Dutch province Gelderland. The castle, which is privately owned, is located on the inside of the dike along the Maas; the Meersloot ends in the canal.

Slot van Well from the Maasdijk

Well castle probably dates from the 14th century, with the construction of a residential tower at this time. The walls of this tower and the extension containing the entrance are about one meter thick. Little is known about the inhabitants of this castle. In the disaster year 1672 the castle was heavily damaged by French troops. The round corner tower was added in the 19th century. In 1884 the castle was expanded with a new front building with battlements. Finally, a drawbridge and gatehouse was added to the house in 1934. On the bridge are weapons of Ammerzoden and Gelre.

The castle can therefore not be visited.
