⛰ The Schaumberg – Tower, Tradition & Vision At approximately 570 meters, the Schaumberg is the highest point in Saarland north of the Saar River. The striking observation tower towers over the landscape and offers impressive panoramic views – on a clear day, extending deep into the Palatinate and Hunsrück region. Historically significant, once the site of a castle, the Schaumberg is today a place of encounter, tranquility, and enjoyment of nature. 🟢 Tip: The Skywalk and the Africa Chapel at the foot of the tower are particularly worth seeing – ideal for a short break with a panoramic view.
