For some unknown reason, the bridge has been blocked with a thick chain and rubbish for some time, or more precisely, the small bridge over the Mühlengraben. There is no apparent reason for the blockage... very strange and annoying :((

Very pleasant path, easy to walk even on (very) warm days because it is mostly shady and leads through many beautiful forests. The only 'exhausting' part are the steps up to the slate mine - but the 200m climb is worth it! After approx. 9km you can take a break at the Wilhelmsteig. A great little cafe with excellent service, very friendly/ attentive staff, delicious waffles.
