I don't think the bridge is broken. It's just that the railing is missing on one side. But I'm not sure if that's intentional.

Small trails lead you through the forest, past streams, over small bridges and along slopes. It's fun!

Settlement above the Prüm that was finally abandoned in 1990 (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Staudenhof_(Mauel)). Of most of the buildings, only the "outer shell" remains, the others are completely barricaded. Nevertheless, it is a special place that is worth a visit :)

If you are in the area, you should visit the Marian Column. For mountain bikers, there is this beautiful trail up to the pillar and later down again. Attention, 1 - 2 spots are really tricky on the descent.

In an easily understandable way, the Devonian uses fossil plant finds to illustrate how plants left the water and conquered the land in the Devonian geological era four hundred million years ago. Unique fossil exhibits from the Köppen quarry bear witness to an eventful geological past.
