From the Luisenstraße bridge, one can see the Agger river in its natural course with partly wooded banks that provide habitat for numerous animal and plant species.

A lovely little museum about the local fish of the Sieg and Rhine rivers, fishing, and the long-established fishing brotherhood.

Here we hike through beautiful birch stands, which are somewhat reminiscent of the moor birch forests in the High Fens.

A visit to the heath is particularly worthwhile during the heather blossom period from mid-August.

The memorial stands in the Wahner Heide near Troisdorf-Spich and commemorates a tragic accident on August 3, 1973, in which seven Belgian soldiers of the Ardennes Hunters Regiment were killed in a vehicle crash. Not far from the accident site, the Troisdorf Local History Society erected a memorial plaque in 2003 bearing the names of the victims to permanently honor the event.
