Along Stage 2 of the Roslagsleden, from Karby Gård to Örsta, you’ll pass classic Swedish red farmhouses. These charming, traditional buildings with their warm red façades and simple design give a glimpse of rural Sweden and add character to the scenic trail.

It is really beautiful to walk the promenade from Hägernäs to Viggbyholm. There are lots of places for a rest: meadows, beaches, benches and jetties.

A great place for a rest or a swim. The small sandy beach at the Hägernäs promenade is surrounded by meadows with trees. Here you can find benches, a playground, a shower and a fire pit.

This small path runs just behind the bathing park, giving you a clear view of the lake and the Skavlötens outdoor courtyard and swimming area on the opposite side. A quiet stretch with nice lookout spots along the water.

This lakeside trail follows a beautiful path with plenty of things to enjoy along the way. You’ll pass a park, a playground, a natural swimming spot, barbecue areas with open fireplaces, . A relaxed and varied route that’s perfect for a day out by the water.

Along the shore of Rönningesjön you’ll find several picnic tables between the bathing area and the Virauddsparken side. It’s a great spot to enjoy a quiet lunch right by the water.

From this spot, enjoy a beautiful view over Viggbyholm Marina, with its small docks and calm waters, framed by a lush, green parkland.

Skavlöten is a calm lakeside spot with plenty of space to relax. You’ll find grassy areas for picnics, small swimming spots, marked trails and public BBQ places. It’s an easy stop for a peaceful break in nature, whether you’re out for a walk, a dip in the lake or simply a coffee at the outdoor café.
