The Äspet Nature Reserve is a true paradise for nature observers: With a bit of luck, numerous bird species can be spotted among the lagoons, reeds, and coastal landscape. A walk in the early morning or evening hours is particularly beautiful, when the light is soft and nature is at rest.

Ekeshult Shelter is a small woodland windshelter with a fire ring, basic seating and a quiet, secluded setting, making it a straightforward overnight stop for hikers on the Skåneleden.

Part of the nature trail. Quite nice. Lots of waterfowl.

Quite nice, but not very varied. Very flat.

The area right by the harbor is quite nice. The beach isn't so great.

A circular hiking trail in the Ivö klack nature reserve takes you around the hill in the north of the island, close to the water.

At this location, there is an old quarry in the forest, which was in operation from about 1880 until the 1950s. Some of the large boulders still show evidence of how the stones were first crushed.

The open meadow at the end of the hill offers you a very beautiful view over the northern tip of Ivö, the largest island in the province of Skåne län.
