Here you can take a well-deserved break on the wooden benches. There is also a drinking water pump and a BBQ pit. A perfect place to relax surrounded by nature.

Narrow wooden boards take you dry through the Sjömossen moorland, which impresses with its lush vegetation.

Here, right on the hiking trail, there used to be a manor called Högeholm. An information board provides information about it in Swedish.

The barbecue area is located right by the lake and features a brick fireplace with a spark guard and a picnic table. In summer, you can cool off in the water, and a lifebuoy hangs from a nearby tree just in case.

Very grateful for this highlight as we struggled to find a fresh water source in the area. It was a bit of a (short) hassle to get to with the loaded bikes but the place turned out to be magical. The old oak trees, the hill, the old crumbling walls. Don't know the local history but the place had a power feeling to itself. The water was delicious. There is a bench as well as a BBQ pit. We saw two local people passing by in the evening on a jog / dog walk.

Fulltofta naturcentrum is a great spot for hiking, barbequing and it also has a cafe as well as exhibitions from time to time. Be sure to visit the nearby ravine or walk one of the many circuits through the forest. In the summer you can also pay to go horseback riding in the woods on the Icelandic horses from the nearby stable. Make sure to book a horse first though. There are also several wind shelters in the woods for those that want to spend the night under the stars.
