Metsämaantie is a quiet, flat road that runs alongside the Kojonjoki river, offering a relaxed ride through open countryside. The asphalt is in decent condition, making it suitable for trekking or cross bikes. Traffic is minimal, which adds to the comfort and safety for cyclists. At the southern end, there’s a short bike path with an underpass that allows you to cross route 9 safely when heading to or from Ypäjä or Ypäjänkylä. The path is slightly rough but manageable - just slow down a bit at the crossing.

not too much traffic, almost flat, okay asphalt with some cracks and patches, ~3 km bike path in the southern end (actually with better asphalt than the road)

the old road continues even further towards Loimaa but turns into the yard of a masonry company for a while so exercise caution/avoid during business hours, continues for quite a while further towards Ypäjä as well

little traffic, flat, southern half (until Ypäjä/Loimaa municipal boundary) new asphalt, northern half older but okay; there’s a short and only slightly dodgy bike path with an underpass across route 9 in the northern end for continuing to/from Metsämaa

Not much traffic, pretty flat but winding, okay asphalt in the south but pretty bad in places in the north (iirc it got asphalt around 1980 and I’m not sure if it has ever been repaved since...), in the north end you can continue on pretty roadbike-friendly gravel in either direction. (Kollasentie is paved all the way to the primary road as well, but then you have nowhere nice to go from there).
