A visit to the sweeping Finnish Central Library in Oodi is well worth it. There's no entrance fee. It's interesting to see how openly the books are displayed. The Oodi Central Library is a vibrant meeting place on Citizens' Square (Kansalaistori), right in the heart of Helsinki. It is one of the 37 branches of the Helsinki City Library and belongs to the Helmet library network. Oodi complements the Culture and Media Centre, which includes the Musiikkitalo concert hall, Finlandia Hall, Sanoma House, and the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art. Oodi is a non-commercial public space, open to everyone, and is located directly opposite the Parliament Building.
