The river is a great place to stroll. There's also a small ferry in town that can be used free of charge instead of crossing the bridges.

northernmost bridge finished, middle one still under construction, southernmost bridge itself ready but access routes still under construction (no wooden decks anywhere anymore though), just keep following the signs in case the map isn’t quite up to date

all three bridges are currently being rebuilt, temporary routes in many places also for the bike path but all pretty good, just watch out for the odd sharp turn and loose gravel, plus the coated plywood deck at the Hessund temporary bridge/ramp can probably be slippery when wet as well

https://www.forum-marinum.fi/fi/ The Forum Marinum Maritime Center is a lively and versatile center for maritime activities and includes a national special museum of maritime history and the Finnish Naval Museum. Restaurant Göran serves cafe delicacies and a tasty, varied lunch. The museum shop offers maritime gifts and other items, literature and high-quality textiles. The museum offers several interesting exhibitions throughout the year and also displays a very interesting boat collection. The maritime center has a considerable collection of museum ships: two large sailing ships, four naval ships and several smaller vessels, from steam harbor tugs to police boats. The museum ships can be seen from the outside all year round, but are only open during the summer months, while the exhibitions are open all year round.

Mikael Agricola is Finland's most important reformer. He was born around 1509 as Mikael Olavinpoika (son of Olavi) in Pernaja. His father, a farmer, sent Agricola to the Latin school in Viipuri (Viborg), where he came into contact with the ideas of humanism and the Reformation while still a student. After his ordination in 1528, he became secretary to the Bishop of Turku. Between 1536 and 1539 he studied at Wittenberg University and lived in Luther's house. Martin Luther, Philipp Melanchthon and Johannes Bugenhagen were among his teachers there. During this time he began to call himself Agricola, derived from the Latin word for farmer. He returned to Turku, strongly influenced by the ideas of the German reformers.
